We have a curriculum that allows us to enroll students on a revolving basis (open enrollment). Arrangements for payment of training costs are established at that time on an individual basis.

The student must meet these requirements for cosmetology and instructor:
A student that is beyond the age of 16, lacks a high school diploma or GED, has the ability to benefit from the education and training of this institution. In order to apply for this benefit; the student, prior to admission, must submit passing test scores from the ASSET Test or COMPASS Test. These tests meet the guidelines established be NACCAS and The Department of Education. Passing scores for ASSET: Reading 35, Writing 35, Numerical 33. Passing scores for COMPASS: Pre-algebra 25, Reading 62, Writing 32.
This special program is offered through YV-Tech Skill Center for high school students who wish to enroll in cosmetology. High school students are allowed to attend school on a half-day basis and receive high school elective credits.
We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We extend an open invitation to visit our schools Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to obtain first hand knowledge of how we operate, discuss training programs and eligibility requirements for financial assistance. We will be happy to answer any questions pertaining to the industry. Our schools are relaxed, friendly and enjoyable.
